Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, September 21, 2019, Lloyd Swain of Carbonear, age 76 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Mary Ellen; brothers: Frederick and Rev. Hector; sister: Edna Trickett. Leaving to mourn, wife: Glenys; two daughters: Tracey Lynn (Stuart Graham), Ottawa, ON and Joanne (Brent) Hamilton, Enfield, NS; one son: Scott (Heather Burden), Halifax, NS; two grandchildren: Christian and Matthew; one great-grandchild: Aubree; one brother: Tom (Jean); also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, September 26 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Cremation to follow. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
