Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, October 12, 2019, Patricia 'Therese' Thomey of Bristol's Hope, age 82 years. Predeceased by husband: Ronald; parents: John and Bridget Lahey; brothers: Jack, Leo, Cyril, and Matt; sisters: Margaret, Geraldine, Ellen, Mary, and Annie. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Geraldine (Gary) Reid, Bristol’s Hope, Jean (Roy Murphy), Long Harbour, and Barb (Jerry Pumphrey), Carbonear; two sons: Ronald, Bristol’s Hope and Ken, Carbonear; two grandchildren: Adam (Emily) and Jennifer (Tyler); two brothers: William (Helen) Lahey, Toronto, ON and Wally (Della) Lahey, Blackhead; one sister: Shirley O'Shea (Ned Maloney), Harbour Grace; life-long family friends: Anne and Rubyanne Whelan, Carbonear; fur baby: Bailey; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Monday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Wednesday, October 16 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Private family inurnment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
