Passed peacefully away at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Sunday, October 13, 2019, Ethel Ash of Harbour Grace, age 82 years. Predeceased by husband: Raymond; daughter: Donna; son-in-law: Paul; parents: Reuben and Frances Sheppard; brothers: Walter, Fred, and Gordon; sisters: Dorothy, Daisy, and Emma. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Sharon Brodie, Binbrook, ON; four grandchildren; Shannon, Brandon (Erin), Fallon, and Scott; five great-grandchildren: Rylan, Kaden, Aliya, Lileigh, and Evan; sister-in-law: Barbara Sheppard, ON; brother-in-law: Harry Hennessey, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Wednesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Hr. Grace. Interment in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
