Obituary of Joyce Trickett

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Sunday, October 20, 2019, Joyce Trickett of Carbonear, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: Lewis; parents: Cephas and Blanche Rowe; brother: William. Leaving to mourn, six daughters: Debbie (Robert) Hindy, Carbonear, Cindy (Bill) Clarke, Upper Island Cove, Lois (Howard) Mercer, Mount Pearl, Jacqui (David) Evans, Riverhead, Hr. Grace, Sherry Finn (Chad Klymchuk), Edmonton, AB, and Valerie (Dwayne) Burden, Carbonear; two sons: Derrick (Hilda Squibb), Carbonear and Glenn (Linda Mutrey), Carbonear; fifteen grandchildren: Jennifer, Brittany, Mitchell, Kimberley (Christopher), Adam (Robyn), Stephanie (Dave), Stacey (Reese), Robyn, Benjamin, Maxwell, Joshua, Zachery, Shane, Mark, and Luke; nine great-grandchildren: Nigel, Blythe, Norah, Simon, Jackson, Luke, Jesse, Violet, and Walker; one brother: Stephen (Agnes) Rowe, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. A special thank you to the staff at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear, for their care and compassion to our mother.  Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear, on Monday, 7:30 to 9;00 pm.; Tuesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, October 23 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear.  Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.  As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Carbonear Interfaith Cemetery Fund, PO Box 257, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A6.
