Obituary of Patricia L. Hearn

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, Patricia L. Hearn of Harbour Grace, age 78 years. Predeceased by husband: Patrick; son: Tony; parents: James and Annie Callahan; brothers: Bernard and Michael; sisters: Alice, Carmelita, and Donna. Leaving to mourn with many precious memories, three daughters: Mary (Robert) Kelsey, Diane Hearn (Tim), and Carle (Wayne) Mercer; three sons: Mike (Annette), Patrick (Peggy), and Rick (Christina); twelve grandchildren: Greg, Susan, Shane, Jeffrey, Stephanie, Steven, Matthew, Mike, Korey, Kaila, Danielle, and Nicole; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers: Jack (Rowena) Callahan, James (Paula) Callahan, Edward Callahan (Donna), and Brian Callahan (Sherry); two sisters: Mary Ballard and Helen (Cecil) Russell; sisters-in-law: Sharon Callahan, Winnie Callahan, Elizabeth Callahan, and Margaret Callahan;  also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family would like to also extend a sincere thank you to staff members at the Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion who often made mom smile and who cared so well for her during her time there. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Thursday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, November 2 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in St. Anne's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Spaniard's Bay.  As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul - Hr.
