Obituary of Clarence Cole, LPM
It is with great sadness that the family of Clarence William Cole, LPM, announces his passing after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer. Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, December 11th, 2019 at the age of 81 years. Cal will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend of 58 years, Daphne, and his children: Bonnie (Brian), Brad (Kim), Brent, deceased (Mary) and Barbara (Dale). Cal will also be fondly remembered by his ten grandchildren: Julia, Jamie, Emma, Jessica, Morgan, Kevin, Amy, Christopher, Victoria, and Andrew, and four great-grandchildren: Sophie, Michael, Sebastian, and Andre. Also leaving to mourn four brothers and one sister: Eugene (Helena, deceased), Lewis (Pearl), Mary (Llewellyn, deceased), Roscoe (Isabelle), and Wayne (Rosalyn). Predeceased by his parents: Lewis and Bessie Cole.
Cal will also be forever remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Cal was a beloved member of all the communities in which he served. His love for his family and others was evident in his ministry and the serving of his faith. He truly believed that success came from within and encouraged everyone to be true to themselves.
Cal will be resting at Noel’s Funeral Home in Carbonear, with visitation starting on Friday, December 13th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and will continue on Saturday, December 14th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place at Victoria United Church on Sunday December 15th, starting at 2 pm. Cremation will take place after the service with burial to be announced at a later date.
As mom and dad so much loved spending time in their garden, flowers will be gracefully accepted and donations can be made in his name to the Daffodil Place, St. John’s, 70 Ropewalk Lane, John’s, NL, A1E 5T2.
