Obituary of G. Leyton 'Pat' Noel

Passed quietly away after a short illness in a room full of love at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, December 19, 2019, G. Leyton 'Pat' Noel of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 87 years. Predeceased by wife: Dorothy; parents: George and Gertrude; sister: Ina Taylor; baby brother: Lloyd; brothers: Ted (Mabel), Leroy (Florence), Les (Marie), and Joe. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Gail (Ray) Evely, Paradise, Valerie Forward and Cathy Ann (David) Curran, both of Carbonear; four beloved grandchildren: Matthew (Erica), Mark (Jill), Christopher (Whitney), and Sarah (Shannon); five precious great-grandchildren: Alaina, Noel, Isla, Kian, and Steph; brother: Gilbert (Gillian), Carbonear; sister: Thelma (James, deceased) Fitzpatrick, St. John’s; sisters-in-law: Emma Noel, and Betty (Harold) Forward, both of Carbonear, and Ethelwynne (Clayton) Parsons, Freshwater; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Friday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Sunday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, December 22 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Freshwater. Interment in the United Cemetery, Freshwater.
