Obituary of Sophie Murray

Went into the presence of the Lord, whom she loved, surrounded by her family who worshipped her (QUEEN) at Luxury Estates, Carbonear on Thursday, January 16, 2020, Sophie Murray of Victoria, age 96 years. Predeceased by husband: Allan; son: Peter; son-in-law: Albert Wareham. Leaving to mourn, four daughters: Phyllis Wareham, Carbonear, Eileen (Winston) Legge, and Pamela (Stewart) Taylor, both of St. John’s, and Andrea Murray, Doha, Quatar; six sons: Jack, Kamloops, BC, Lloyd (Annabelle), Bellevue, Allan (Cheryl), and Gordon (Marcia), both of Dartmouth, NS, Gregory (Merina), Victoria and Derrick, St. John’s; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; the wonderful staff of Lane’s Retirement Living (Luxury Estates); also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Bethel Pentecostal Church, Victoria on Monday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 22 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church.
