Obituary of Emily Moores

Passed peacefully away at Pleasant View Towers, St. John's, on Saturday, February 1, 2020, Emily Moores of Victoria, age 85 years. Rejoined with her husband: Ralph; parents: Alfred and Clara Clarke; brothers: Donald, Ernest, Samuel and Melvin. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Elaine MacKenzie, Wasaga Beach, ON; one grandson: Kirk MacKenzie, Brampton, ON; six brothers: Reginald (Emma) Clarke, Victoria, James (June) Clarke, Victoria, Raymond (Ivy) Clarke, Adeytown, Harold (Shirley) Clarke, Cupids, Alfred ‘Junior’ (Ina) Clarke, and William (Mona) Clarke, both of Victoria; two sisters: Mary (Roland) Burke and Sharon (Joseph) Snooks, both of Victoria; sister-in-law: Vida Clarke, St. John’s; special nephew: Lindsay Moores (Hilda) and members of the Moores family; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Monday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, February 4 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church, Victoria. Interment in Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria.
