Passed peacefully but suddenly away at his residence on Sunday, February 23, 2020, George Peckham of Salmon Cove, age 66 years. Predeceased by daughter: Regan; parents: George H. and Sarah. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife: Ruby; one daughter: Rebecca (John Osmond), Salmon Cove; three grandchildren: Kendrick, Madison, and Dylan; four brothers: Harold (Blanche), Ed (Linda), Mark (Vivian), and Will (Maxine), all of Salmon Cove; three sisters: Mina (Isaac, deceased) Slade, Bertha (Sterling, deceased) Slade, and Doreen (Edison) King, all of Salmon Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, February 27 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove. Interment in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove.
