Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, February 23, 2020, William King of Broad Cove, age 75 years.
Predeceased by parents: Leslie and Elizabeth.
Leaving to mourn, partner: Angela Power; three sons: Jim (Lisa), Small Point, Ian (Olga), Ottawa, ON, and Jason (Linda), Calgary, AB; three grandchildren: Brandon, Lesley, and Victoria; four sisters: Rhena (Jim) O'Driscoll, Carbonear, Linda (Norm) Slade, Bishop’s Falls, Mildred (Herman, deceased) Whalen, Western Bay, and Barb (Mel) Sellars, Blackhead; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Tuesday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral service to take place on Thursday, February 27 at 11:00 a.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
