Passed away at his residence on Monday, February 24, 2020, James Austin of Harbour Grace, age 72 years.
Predeceased by parents: James and Eva; sister: Joan Skarayko; brother: Murray; brother-in-law: Don Matthews.
Leaving to mourn, wife: Flossie; one daughter: Elizabeth Austin; one son: Raymond (Michelle); five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother: Hayward (Winnie); two sisters: Lorraine Matthews and Anita (Junior) Burden; sister-in-law: Linda Austin; brother-in-law: Al Skarayko; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation and no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1037 Topsail Road, Mount Pearl, NL, A1N 5E9.
A Memorial Tree was planted for James
