Obituary of Lillian M. Peach

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, Lillian M. Peach of Broad Cove, age 93 years. Predeceased by husband: Alfred; sons: Charles and Donald; infant son; grandson: Bradley; infant granddaughter; parents: Randall and Irene Skanes; nine brothers and one sister. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Mary (Berkley) Whalen, Brampton, ON and Mabel Peach, Calgary, AB; three sons: Robert (Denise), Flatrock, Gordon (Phyllis), Edmonton, AB, and Gerald (Judy), Broad Cove; 22 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; one sister: Mabel Musgrave, Newmarket, ON; brother-in-law: Charles (Jean) Peach, Gander; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Saturday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. A family only funeral service to take place from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Broad Cove. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to McDowell United Church Women, c/o Treasurer, David Hollett, RR1, Site 6, Box 22, Adam’s Cove, NL, A1Y 1C6. Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, and for the health and safety of everyone, restrictions on the number of individuals attending the visitation and funeral service are being implemented.
