Obituary of Ronald D. Slade

Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, Ronald D. Slade of Salmon Cove, age 73 years. Predeceased by parents: Silvie and Effie, sister: Bertha Reynolds, and brother: Robert (Frances). Leaving to mourn, wife: Mary; three sons: Rick (Mary Lou), Salmon Cove, Rod (Tracey), Victoria, and Ray (Lisa), Salmon Cove; five grandchildren: Tyler (Jennifer), Rodney (Cassidy), Daniel, Kayla, and Scott; one sister: Sandra (Jim) Reynolds, Salmon Cove; one brother: Randy (Joan), Salmon Cove; sisters-in-law: Jane (Stan) Higdon, New Harbour, Laverne (Bob, deceased) Baldwin, Brampton, ON, and Glenda Baldwin, Goose Bay; brothers-in-law: Warrick Reynolds, Perry’s Cove, Roy (Mildred) Baldwin, Howard (Louise) Baldwin, Bert (Linda) Baldwin, Melvin (Tina) Baldwin, Derek (Hester) Baldwin, and Wade (Wanda) Baldwin, all of Victoria, and Lloyd Baldwin, Goose Bay; good buddies: Terry and Tony Cull, and Allan Oates; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. At Ronald’s request, cremation has taken place. Due to the current pandemic, a future visitation and funeral service to be announced.
