Obituary of David Oliver

Passed peacefully away in the comfort of his own home in Burnt Point, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, David Oliver, age 67 years. Predeceased by his parents: Charles and Rebecca Oliver and parents-in-law: Wallace and Jessie Tucker; brother-in-law: John Tucker; nephew: Glenn Kennell. Leaving to mourn, his beloved wife: Sadie; two daughters and one son: Charlene (Darell), Crystal (Derrick) and Jason (Danielle); his pride and joy, four grandchildren: Logan, Dawson, Destiny, and Grayson; three sisters: Rita (Allan), Bertha (friend Larry), and Doreen (Randy); one sister-in-law: Jennie (Gary); two brothers-in-law: Clifford (Lillian) and Harvey (Sandra); very special friend (brother): Terry Tucker; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Extra special thanks to David’s special nurse (sister Doreen), his guardian angel, who went above and beyond the call of duty during his short illness. Cremation has taken place. We know because of the present pandemic how difficult it is for family and friends to have closure. Rest assured, that when this crisis is over there will be a celebration of David’s life that he so well deserves. As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice. “He doesn’t know it yet, but I’ve already got the greatest catch of all.....Him.”
