Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, June 15, 2020, Jane Kennell of Western Bay, age 81 years.
Predeceased by husband: Chesley; parents: Francis and Mildred King; sisters: Mary (Warren) King and Lavinia (Roland) Rideout; brothers: Jim and Fred.
Leaving to mourn, daughter: Linda (Larry) Brown, St. John’s; son: Roger (Winnie), Marystown; three grandchildren: Stephanie (Mike), Dean (Michelle) and Ryan (Rebecca); four great-grandchildren: Kaden, Ryder, Kataya, and Noah; two brothers: Sam (Lorna) King, Victoria and Gerald King, Victoria, BC; one sister: Winnie (Gerald) Butt, Blackhead; sisters-in-law: Karen King, Paradise, Diane King, Toronto, ON and Beverley King, BC; brothers-in-law: Clarence (Ann) Kennell, St. John’s, Harold (Ruby) Kennell, Upper Gullies, and Lloyd Harrill, Corner Brook; special friend: Megan Fahey; Home Care Workers: Elsie Paynter, Kim Rose, and Joan Thomas; residents and staff of Charwood Manor, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Following legislation regarding the current pandemic, a private visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay, followed by a private funeral service from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Western Bay South.
