Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, July 3, 2020, James 'Jim' Clarke of Victoria, age 83 years. Predeceased by parents: James and Elizabeth; brother: Melvin; sisters: Mariam and Annie. Leaving to mourn, wife: Cynthia; four daughters: Donna (Austin) Deering and Bonnie (Gerald) Evely, both of Freshwater, Carbonear, Della (Scott) Penney and Cindy (George), both of Victoria; two sons: Carson (Annie) and Steven (Judy), both of Victoria; nine grandchildren: Melissa, Devon, Michael, Jennifer, Jenelle, Jordan, Laura, Brianna, and Jaden; two step-grandchildren: Nakita and Josh; five great-grandchildren; two brothers: Albert (Marguerite), Carbonear and Norman (Wesley), Victoria; members of the Butt family; other relatives and friends. Following government legislation due to the current pandemic, a private visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, followed by a private funeral service from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria. As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
