Obituary of Stella M. Noseworthy

Passed peacefully away in St. John’s on Sunday, July 5, 2020 in her 92nd year, Stella Mary (Kavanagh) Noseworthy of Carbonear. Predeceased by her husband of 32 years, Paul Noseworthy and her partner of 36 years, Everett Swain; her parents: Frank and Hazel Kavanagh; sisters: Elizabeth, Jessie and Ann; brothers: Maurice, Jack, Albert, Frankie, Harry, Bill and Dennis. Left with joyful memories of her zest for life and love of family fun are, son: Paul (Marie Sharpe) and daughter: Cathryn (Clar Button); grandchildren: Victoria Noseworthy, Rebecca Noseworthy (Kevin LeFort), Christopher Button, and Dr. Cait Button; sisters: Margaret Pye and Mildred Dooley. Also, many other relatives and friends who will remember her fondly, reaching as far as California and Australia. Stella’s grandchildren were shaped by and will always remember her colourful storytelling, boundless optimism, generosity and wonderful sense of humour. “Forever young and free in spirit” Many thanks to the wonderful staff on 2NE of Pleasant View Towers for the excellent loving care they provided. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Stella’s life will be held at a later date. Interment at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carbonear on July 10, 2020.
