Passed suddenly away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, Patsy Oliver, formerly of Gull Island, age 65 years. Predeceased by husband: James; father: Richard Roche; parents-in-law: Patrick and Ellen Oliver. Leaving to mourn, her loving spouse: Vern Moch, Bay Bulls; two daughters: Nicole (Tony) Bursey, Gull Island, and Chrissy (Sheldon) Smith, CBS; one son: Jamie (Nicole), Bay Bulls; six grandchildren: Zachary, Carley, Jada, Mackenzie, Skylar, and Grayson; mother: Mary Roche; seven brothers: Steve (Elva), Martin (Brynda), Wayne (Donna), Don (Terri), Robert (Cathy), Paul (Deanne), and Joe; two sisters: Diane (Bernie) and Janet (Mike); special aunt: Patricia; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Special Thanks to Dr. Duffett and the staff on the Cardiology floor at the Health Sciences Center, St. John’s. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation will take place at Noel’s Funeral Home, Western Bay, followed by funeral service at Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Western Bay by invitation only. Interment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Gull Island Memorial Board Walk, c/o Gen Shortt, PO Box 86, Burnt Point, NL, A0A 1M0.
