Passed peacefully but suddenly away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Saturday, November 21, 2020, Edward 'Eddie' Murphy of Burnt Point, age 57 years.
Predeceased by parents-in-law: Tom and Johanna Doyle; brother-in-law: Billy.
Leaving to mourn, wife: Rebecca; parents: Cyril and Daphne, Burnt Point; two brothers: Brian (Anita), Halifax, NS and Christopher, Toronto, ON; niece: Brandi and great-nephew: Reese; nephew: Nathan; brothers-in-law: Bernard Doyle, Gull Island and Adrian (Bernadette) Doyle, St. John’s; sisters-in-law: Annie (Tony) MacDonald, Gull Island and Edna Doyle, St. John’s; aunts: Inez (Albert, deceased) Milley, Burnt Point, Thelma (Robert) Snelgrove, Lower Island Cove, Mary (Allan, deceased) Moores, Burnt Point, and Marilyn (Boyd, deceased) Moores, Toronto, ON; uncle: Kenneth (Jean) Murphy, Halifax, NS; also a number of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay, followed by funeral service at Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Western Bay, by invitation only. Interment in the United Cemetery, Burnt Point.
