Obituary of Rhoda Gillespie

Passed peacefully away at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Thursday, November 26, 2020, Rhoda Gillespie of Carbonear, age 98 years.
Predeceased by husband: John; parents: Isaac and Elizabeth Power; brothers: Hedley, Oscar, Joe, and Ernest; sisters: Myrtle, Ann, Hilda, Clara Belle, and Violet.
Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Karen (George) Butt; two sons: Don (Murley) and Paul (Linda), all of Carbonear; six grandchildren: Brian (Michelle), Krystal, Kathy (Mike), Neal (Christine), Annette (Sheldon), and Johnross; six great-grandchildren: Daniel, Andrew, Justin (Jessica), Jenna, Mallory, and Alex; one great-great-granddaughter: Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear, followed by funeral service at Bethany United Church, Carbonear, by invitation only. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted.
