Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, James H. Parsons of Salmon Cove, age 84 years.
Predeceased by wife: Myrtle; parents: Selby and Marjorie; brother: Bill.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his children: Tony (Carol), John (Jeannie), Edith (Floyd), Selby (Clarissa), and Noreen (Barry) Taylor; eleven grandchildren: Mark, Christian, Catherine, Brooklyn, James, Heather, Ashton, Lindsay (Brandon), Jacob, Joshua, and Riley; four great-grandchildren: Greyson, Georgia, Sawyer, and Gabriella; sister: Leah (John) Crane; brothers: Leslie (Pauline), Willis (Janet), and Russell (Maureen); sister-in-law: Ruby Parsons; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear, followed by funeral service on Thursday, December 31 from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove, by invitation only. Interment in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Riverside United Church, P.O. Box 250, Salmon Cove, NL, A0A 3S0.
