Obituary of Joseph Hatch

Passed peacefully away on Monday, May 10, 2021 at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia, Joseph Hatch of Red Head Cove, aged 87 years. Predeceased by his loving wife: Carmel (O’Leary); parents: William and Bridget Hatch; brother: Eugene; sister: Winnifred “Winnie” Milley (Hatch); parents-in-law: John and Rita O’Leary; son-in-law: Darren Rice; sisters-in-law: Joan Hatch and Mary Anne Hatch; brothers-in-law: Mike Kelly and Dan Doyle; and other members of the Hatch and O’Leary families. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his sons: Tony (Florence), Brian (Josephine), Bruce (Melvie), Carl (Stephanie), Keith (Dale), Kevin (Joanne); daughters: Lisa and Joanne Rice; grandchildren: Joey (Melinda), Becky (Darrin), Bruce (Karen), Brittany (John), Karla (Chris), Kelsey, Darrell, Deanne, Landen and Kyle; great-grandchildren: Logan, Bailee, Hayden, Leah, Liam, Noelle and Arielle; step-grandchildren: Blair and Blaine; step-great-grandchildren: Trenten, Brinley, Braylen and Akyler; three brothers: Phillip, Dennis (Pauline), and Maurice; two sisters: Veronica Kelly and Frances Doyle; members of the O’Leary family; and an extended circle of family and friends. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all staff members of Baccalieu Retirement Living, Old Perlican and Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia. Visitation on Wednesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, May 13 from Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Bay de Verde, by invitation only. Interment in Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
