Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at his residence on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, Rodger King of Kingston, age 61 years. Predeceased by infant daughter: Tanya; father: Frazer; uncle: Ed; parents-in-law: John and Mary Hurley. Leaving to mourn, wife: Deborah 'Deb'; two daughters: Renee (Bradley), Keswick, ON and Fallon (Corey), Kingston; four grandchildren: Bianca, Darius, Clarissa, and Mirrissa; mother: Evelyn, Carbonear; three brothers: Bruce (Dorothy), Holyrood, Richard (Debra, deceased), Perry’s Cove, and Jamie (Sandra), Brownsdale; four sisters: Hester (Derek) Baldwin, Victoria, Aggie (Kevin) Forward, Carbonear, Sharon King, St. John’s, and Joanne King (Troy), Victoria; aunts: Audrey Dooley, Edith Swain, Betty King, Mary Swain, Gladys King, and Laura Swain; special friends: Tom Traverse, Leona Cole, Tina Bursey, and Derm O'Leary; also a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay on Saturday, August 7 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m., followed by funeral service from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay, by invitation only. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Rodger King Memorial Fund c/o Noel’s Funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9. *****
