Passed peacefully but suddenly away at Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, August 14, 2021, Richard 'Dick' Parsons of Victoria, age 81 years.
Predeceased by grandson: Troy; parents: Richard and Elva; brothers: Lionel, Leonard, Reginald, and Robert; sisters: Bernice, Elva, Clara, and Marjorie.
Leaving to mourn, wife: Marie; one daughter: Letha (Terry) Trudgen, Newmarket, ON; two sons: Bruce (Suzann) and David (Kelly), both of Victoria; three grandchildren: Kayla, Jordon (Caitlin), and Chase; three great-grandchildren: Jayda, Parker, and Priya; two sisters: Robina (Albert, deceased) Crane, Harbour Grace and Dora (Winston, deceased) Bess, Victoria; sister-in-law: Joyce (David, deceased) Flight, St. John’s; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Monday, August 16 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 17 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, August 17 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Victoria. Interment in the United Cemetery, Victoria.
