Passed peacefully away with her loving family by her side at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Sunday, October 24, 2021, Emmie Evely of Victoria, age 80 years. Predeceased by husband: Edwin; parents: James and Clara Penney; sister: Shirley Williams. Leaving to mourn, four daughters: Tina (Melvin) Baldwin and Mollie (Jeffrey) Clarke, both of Victoria, Kimberley Harris (Glenn Lane), Makinsons, and Linda Farrell (Brian Parsons), Spaniard's Bay; two sons: Kenneth (Karen) and Barry (Carolyn), both of Victoria; fifteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers: Jim (Marjorie) Penney, Carbonear and Selby (Diane) Penney, Paradise; brother-in-law: Gordon Williams, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, October 26 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Proof of vaccination will be required for visitations and funeral service. Funeral service by invitation only, on Wednesday, October 27 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment to follow in the United Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Emmie Evely Memorial Fund c/o Noel’s Funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9.
