Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, November 18, 2021, Melvina King of Carbonear, age 84 years. Predeceased by husband: Eric; daughter-in-law: Printzlyne; son-in-law: Paul Brien; parents: Clarence and Beatrice Clarke. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Lillian Brien and Vida (Jim) Butt, both of Carbonear; four sons: Clarence (Arlene), Salmon Cove, Lester (Jeanette), Victoria, Ross (Stella), and Darrell (Wanda), both of Carbonear; twelve grandchildren: Denise (Bob), Deanne (Cory), Paul (Heidi), Christine, James (Justine), Kaitlin, Christopher (Janice), Linda (Shane), Laura, Natasha (Joey), Justin (Jennifer), Lester (Mary); seventeen great-grandchildren: DJ (Katie), Matthew (Courteney), Erica (Christian), Justin, Jackson, Logan, Lauren, Maggie, Mollie, Emerson, Eric, Jacob, Austin, Justine, Jayden, Janelle, and Payton; two brothers: Robert (Jean) Clarke, Stephenville and Lloyd (Ivy) Clarke, Carbonear; special friend: Hayward Peddle; special friends and staff at Lane’s Retirement Living, Carbonear; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, November 20 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, November 21 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service on Sunday, November 21 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear.
