Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, December 27, 2021, Clyde Evely of Carbonear; formerly of Flatrock, Freshwater, age 83 years. Predeceased by wife: Bessie; parents: John and Elizabeth; sisters: Ruby Keeping and Daphne (George) Sooley; brother-in-law: Stephen Coffey. Leaving to mourn, wife: Shirley; four sons: Randell (Linda), Glen (Geraldine), Fred and John (Susan), all of British Columbia; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two step-daughters; three step-sons, and their children; three brothers: Frank (Daphne), Clarke’s Beach, John (Jean), Kelligrews, and David (Phyllis), Clarenville, four sisters: May Coffey (Max Mugford), Cupids Crossing, Verna (Sam) Arnold, Halifax, NS, Regina (Tolson, deceased) Ralph and Rhoda (Bill) Barteau, both of Clarke’s Beach; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Following COVID-19 guidelines, visitation will be held by invitation only at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, December 29. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, December 30 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church, Victoria, by invitation only. Interment in Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery Fund, PO Box 9, Victoria, NL, A0A 4G0. ******
