CRANE, Daniel G. - Passed away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, Daniel G. Crane of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, age 50 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Agatha; sisters: Madonna Pike, Bernadette Crane-Thistle and Gloria Sooley; father-in-law: Jim Mercer. Leaving to mourn, wife: Brenda; two daughters: Vanessa and Caitlyn, both of Riverhead, Harbour Grace; two sons: Steven and Adam, both of Riverhead, Harbour Grace; one granddaughter: Brooke; two sisters: Diane Crane, St. John's and Patricia (Paul) Walters, Ottawa, ON; mother-in-law: Rose Mercer, Upper Island Cove; brother-in-law: Barry Mercer, Upper Island Cove; sister-in-law: Diane (Jack) Cleary, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Thursday from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, March 2 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
