Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving daughter Doris at Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, December 31, 2021, Olive May Abbott (nee Pynn) of Harbour Grace, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: Arthur J,; parents: John and Lillian Pynn; son-in-law: Philip L. Rossiter; brothers: Clarence, Willard (Winnie), Chesley, Harold (Violet), Lloyd, and Eric; sisters: Margaret (Earl) Anger, Doris (James ) Slade, Jean (Selby) Singleton, and Shirley (John) Reinhardt. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Doris E., Harbour Grace; two grandsons: Christopher (Brittany) and Andrew; nephews: James (Richel) Slade and Clarence (Maria) Slade; nieces: Shirley Slade (Hunter), Linda (Chris) Cooney, Ruby (Gil) Hiscock, Olive (Terry) Parsons, Cynthia (Bob) Rossiter, and Paula (Dean) Penney; special nephew: Walter Pynn; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Following pandemic guidelines, visitation by invitation only on Monday, January, 3 at Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace. Funeral service on Tuesday, January 4 at 2:00 p.m., by invitation only, from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
