Passed away suddenly at Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, February 12, 2022, Jim Peddle of Bristol's Hope, age 71 years.
Predeceased by daughter: Kimberly Ann; parents: Harry and Violet; brothers: Henry, Reginald, and Albert.
Leaving to mourn, wife: Myrtle; two daughters: Sandra (Carter) King, Carbonear and Tina (Warren Cole), Edmonton, AB; son: Jamie (Robyn), Torbay; step-children: Johnny (Tammy) Carpenter, Alberta, Mark (Donette) Carpenter, Victoria, and Sheri (Kevin Pearce), Carbonear; five grandchildren: Jeremy, Justin, Wyatt, Jack, and Ava; six step-grandchildren: Grady, Braydon, Julianna, Sierra, Brooklyn, and Gracie; three brothers: Dave (Ada) and Ches (Ann), both of Bristol’s Hope, and Eric (Harriet), Whitbourne; four sisters: Edith (Ches) Pye and Elaine Baker (Bill St. George), both of Bristol’s Hope, Shirley (Bob) Crocker, Upper Island Cove, and Cindy O'Neil, Harbour Grace; brothers-in-law: Johnny Butt, Graham (Shirley) Butt, Les (Diane) Butt, Cyril (Sherry) Butt, Gary (Carol) Butt, and Cyril (Shirley, deceased) Griffin; sisters-in-law: Shirley Currah, Opal Peddle, Annie (Maurice, deceased) Curran, Marion (Don) Sheppard, and Gail Spracklin; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Following pandemic guidelines, visitation by invitation only at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, February 15 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, February 16 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
Proof of vaccination required for visitation and funeral service.
