Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, March 28, 2022, Dominic J. Curran of Carbonear, age 74 years. Predeceased by parents: William and Agnes Curran; sisters: baby girl Curran and Julia; brothers: William (Mary), Philip, Maurice, and Joseph William. Leaving to mourn, wife: Brenda; daughter: Kelly (Scott) Kippenhuck, Shearstown; two sons: Dominic Jr. (Ann), St. John’s and Howard (Lisa), Carbonear; five grandchildren: Joshua, MacKenzie, and Marcus Curran, Jacob and Lucas Kippenhuck; two step-grandchildren: Deshawna and Jeremy McKay; brother: David (Cathy-Ann); sisters: Anastasia (Edward, deceased) Furey, Elizabeth (George, deceased) Cherry, Catherine (Jim) Mercer, Lucy (Larry, deceased) Griffin, and Agnes (Wayne) Bishop; sisters-in-law: Elvie Curran, Annie Curran, Dorothy (Philip, deceased) Murray, Rita (John, deceased) Gear, and Denise (Maxwell) Harris; also a number of other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday, March 31 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Friday, April 1 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday, April 1 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Carbonear. Interment in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carbonear. The family respectfully ask for masks to be worn for the visitation and funeral service.
