Obituary of Bonnie Louise Martin

With broken hearts we announce the passing of Bonnie Louise Martin, who passed peacefully away in the loving arms of her family at Dr. A.A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at the age of 58 years. Predeceased by parents: Gilbert and Lily; sisters: Marilyn and Edna; nephew: Jamie, niece: Rosie; parents-in-law: Tom and Isabel. Leaving to mourn, devoted husband of 38 years, Tony; two loving daughters: Jillian (Matthew) and Kennedy (Justin); three grandchildren, who were her entire world: Carter - 'Nan's Treasure', Haven - Nan's Dixie Cup', and Aurora - 'Nan's Peanut'; brother: Dorm (Barb); two sisters: Juanita (Peter) and June (Bill); nieces: Lisa, Dana, Janine, and Rebecca; nephews: Jamie and David; sisters-in-law: Christine, Carol (Ralph), Brenda (Taha), and Lori (Jonathan); special friends: Louise, Valerie, Susan, Jackie, and her work family at Quinlans; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Grates Cove on Sunday, May 1 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Monday, May 2 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. A celebration of life funeral service to take place on Monday, May 2 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Luke's Anglican Church, Grates Cove. The family would like to extend sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks to the staff at Dr. A.A Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Centre and the Carbonear General Hospital for the care that was provided and their kindness shown.
