Obituary of Susie Galway

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, Susie Galway of Thicket, Riverhead, Harbour Grace, age 85 years.
Predeceased by husband: Andrew; parents: William and Katie Crane; sister: Julia; son-in-law: Carson. Leaving to mourn, six daughters: Helen (John) Parsons, Thicket, Gladys (Pete) Moriarty, Harbour Grace, Shirley (Anthony) Butt, Thicket, Violet (Marv) Reynolds, Carbonear, Andrea Penney (Alf Baker), Salmon Cove, and Carol-Ann (Ian) Martin, Upper Island Cove; three sons: Terry (Elizabeth), Gary (Wanda) and Greg (Tammy), all of Thicket; eighteen grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; thirty six great-grandchildren; two brothers: Moses (Kathy) Crane, Carbonear and George (Gladys) Crane, Thicket; three sisters: Gladys (Hedley) Clarke, Spaniard’s Bay, Violet (John) Chalmers, and Mary Haire (Don Smith), both of ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Thursday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Funeral mass to take place on Friday, May 6 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Upper Island Cove.
At the request of the family, masks are respectfully asked to be worn.
