Obituary of Genevieve 'Jenny' Oliver

It is with sad hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Genevieve ‘Jenny’ Oliver (nee Colbert) at the Carbonear General Hospital on May 6, 2022, age 70 years. Predeceased by her parents: Vincent and Alice Colbert of Job’s Cove; brothers: Raymond, Pius, and Tom; sisters: Theresa, Kay, and Mary. Leaving to mourn, her beloved husband: Lawrence; daughter: Rana Reynolds (Ryan), Port Elgin, Ontario; son: Cory Reynolds, Kitchener, Ontario; step-children: Shirley (Don), Johnny (Maureen), Tammy (Dale), and Michael; grandchildren: Daniel, Brooke, Jessica, Kristen, Rebecca, Stephen, Melanie, Erin, Tori, Lydia, and Jacob; a number of great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren; sisters: Pauline (Neddy), Eileen, and Debbie; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, May 18 at 1:00 p.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Jenny Oliver Memorial Fund c/o Noel’s Funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9.
