Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, Elva W. Pye of Harbour Grace, age 85 years. Predeceased by husband: Stanley; parents: Douglas and Penninah Jackson; sisters: Audrey McDougall and Callie (Edgar) Clarke; sister-in-law: Shirley Reid. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Karen (Shawn) Barrett, Harbour Grace; one son: Kevin (Alice), Harbour Grace; three grandchildren: Jonathan, Alexis (Christopher), and Andrew; two sisters: Vera (Hector) Sooley, Heart’s Delight and Janet (Jack) Pauls, Font Hill, ON; brothers-in-law: Dougal (Dorothy) Pye, Corner Brook, Chesley (Edith) Pye, Bristol’s Hope, and Donald (Maxine) Pye, Carbonear; sister-in-law: Linda (Aubrey), Byrant’s Cove; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service on Friday, June 3 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Interment St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
