I so clearly remember babysitting Peter in his little blue onesie. I'm not sure why that particular moment stands out but it's as clear as day. My heart is shattered for Mare and Danielle but I can't help but smile when I think of all the things Peter will get to do with his dad now. He's gone from our arms and love but to a place where he is equally loved and free from all the earthy burdens he carried. For a child who was never supposed to make it past childhood he really showed us that with the love and support of family odds are just something to be beaten. Fly high and have fun Peter. We'll see you again someday. Sending love and light to Mare and Danielle and all the family. Love Uncle Jarrod and Jacob.
