Obituary of George Douglas Thistle

Passed away unexpectedly in Edmonton Alberta on July 24, 2022, George Douglas Thistle of Edmonton, formerly from Small Point, age 67 years. Predeceased by parents: Bill and Ada; brother: Rick. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Lisa (Rick) Amoson, USA; son: Stephen (Andrea), NB; four grandchildren: Cole, JT, Kiley, and Ciara; three brothers: Wayne, Small Point, Derrick (Donna), Broad Cove, and Cyrus (Sherry), Ontario; one sister: Mary Hart, Small Point; lifelong friend: Craig. George was a friend to every one he met and he will be greatly remembered for his passion of fishing and hunting in the course of his lifetime. Unfortunately George fell into hard times the past few years and his time had ran out. A family service will be held at a later date.
