Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, Donald A. Vaters of Victoria, age 89 years. Predeceased by parents: Mark and Mae; sister: Clare. Leaving to mourn, wife: Frances; daughter: Kathy (Gerald) Mercer, Upper Island Cove; two sons: Kirk, Victoria and Keith (Maryann), Cole Harbour, NS; five grandchildren: Nicholas, Kayla (Brad), Karrie (Devan), Deserae (Nathan), and Kirkland; three great-grandchildren: Emma, Gracie, and Easton; four brothers: Frank (Marilyn-deceased), ON, Mark (Irene), AB, Gary (June), Western Bay, and Terry (Elizabeth), NS; three sisters: Mary (Wilbert-deceased) Harris, Carbonear, Dianne (Lewis-deceased) Russell, ON, and Beverley (Junior-deceased) Baggs, ON; members of the Drover family, other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Friday, October 14 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, October 15 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church, Victoria. Interment in Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Bethel Pentecostal Church, P.O.
