Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving son at Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, Anthony Traverse of Kingston, age 68 years. Predeceased by parents: Richard and Winnifred; brother: Alex; members of the Traverse and LeGrow families. Leaving to mourn, loving wife: Karen of 38 years; two sons: Fabian (Cynthia) and Adam; step-daughter: Dana; granddaughter: Tera; step-grandchildren: Nicholas and Emma; three great-grandchildren: Kayleigh, Kyle, and Amelia; six brothers: Joseph (Marg), Kevin (Carolanne), Mike, Dave (Theresa), Gerard (Bev), and Edward (Cynthia, deceased); four sisters: Catherine (Junior), Mary (Sylvester), Madeline (Raymond, deceased), and Bernadette (Bruce); also a circle of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Carbonear General Hospital, 7th floor, for taking such good care of Anthony. A special mention extended to Anthony’s homecare workers, Haley, Lisa, and especially Tanja “Sonja” for the love and extra care you showed Anthony every day. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Friday, November 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Funeral service on Friday, November 11 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kingston.
