To Harold's family, We are saddened to learn of Harold's passing. Harold has been a friend of our family for many many years. Harold was an avid outdoors man and true blue Leafs fan. I have fond memories of Harold in the great outdoors and discussing his favourite team for twelve months of the year always dreaming of them winning one more Cup! A kind, fun to be around guy is how I will remember Harold. Rest in Peace!

Sorry to hear of Harold's passing . Harold came to work with The Earle Freighting Service Ltd. a couple of years before the ground fish closure.He replaced my father Bert Hardy who was retiring .He was there one season with my father to learn the ropes. He was there the next summer on his own.. He got along great with his workers and the fishermen. He enjoyed his time in Battle Harbour dealing with the many things that came up for the manager to handle. Harold always spoke highly of his time on the coast of Labrador. Our thoughts are with the family at this time. Keith Hardy
