Obituary of Carmel Parsons

It is with great sadness that we announce Carmel’s passing after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, December 30, 2022. A very caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
Left with a lifetime of memories, her loving and devoted husband, Sam; one daughter, Amanda and husband Rendell; one son, Sam (Jr.) and wife Sherry; two precious granddaughters, Taylor and Brittany, of whom she was so very proud; her mother, Agnes Hennessey; three sisters, Maggie (Skip, deceased), Sheila (Jerome), and Paula (Reg); two brothers, Tom (Valma, deceased) and Harry; two brothers-in-law, Bert (Gertie) and Wayne (Hazel); three sisters-in-law, Daphne (Jim), Beverley (Dave), and Shirley Lake; also a very large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Predeceased by her father, Thomas Hennessey and sister-in-law, Daisy Hennessey; her parents-in-law, Bert and Lilian Parsons; sister-in-law, Mary Nicholl; brother-in-law, Harry Lake and niece, Kristina Walsh.
The family would like to thank Dr. J. Siddiqui for his special care and guidance during Carmel’s illness along with all the wonderful nurses and medical staff of the H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre. We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses of 4 North A for their unwavering help and care during Carmel’s final days.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral at Carm’s request. A private burial will be held at a later date.
