Passed suddenly but peacefully away at his residence on Sunday, January 1, 2023, Ralph N. Parsons of Ochre Pit Cove, age 87 years. Predeceased by wife: Mary Ann; daughter-in-law: Anna; parents: Richard and Emma; brothers: Richard ‘Junior’ and Joseph (Mildred); sister: Evelyn Gold; parents-in-law: Walter and Mary Agnes Doyle. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Brenda (Roger) Haynes, St. John’s and Tracey (Barry) Scott, Burnt Point; two sons: Richard (Arlene) and Christopher, both of Ochre Pit Cove; seven grandchildren: Kirsten (Jordan), Brianne, Andrew, Jenna, Kyle, Lucas, and Hailey; three great-grandchildren: Jackson, Owen, and Sawyer; brothers-in-law: James (Marilyn - deceased) Doyle, Paradise and Edward (Agnes) Doyle, Ochre Pit Cove; sisters-in-law: Theresa (Michael) North, Ochre Pit Cove, Rose (James) Tucker, Outer Cove, and Julie (Patrick - deceased) Doyle, Gull Island; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Tuesday, January 3 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 4 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, January 4 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay.
