Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Saturday, February 11, 2023, Roy G. Rogers of Harbour Grace, age 71 years. Predeceased by parents: Gerald and Ada; parents-in-law: Max and Ethel Mercer; brother-in-law: Tom Mercer; sister-in-law: Winnie James. Leaving to mourn, wife: Joan; three daughters: Ginger (Keely Roberts), Calgary, AB, Dale (Darryl) Mullen, Kincardine, ON, and Cherie (Graham) Lynch, Spaniard’s Bay; one son: Roy (Kimberlee), Tilton; three grandchildren: Mark, Sarah, and Reanna; one brother: Gary (Gail), Harbour Grace; two sisters: May Fry (Vern Dawe), North River and Barbara (Corey) Sheppard, Carbonear; brother-in-law: Kevin Mercer, Upper Island Cove; sister-in-law: Shirley (Pleaman - deceased) Short, Upper Island Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Monday, February 13 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. DUE TO FORECASTED WINTER STORM WARNING, VISITATION WILL RESUME ON Wednesday, February 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, February 15 at 3:00 p.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace.
