BRIDGER, Otto - Passed away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Saturday, March 30, 2013, Otto Bridger of Carbonear; formerly of Brighton, age 82 years. Predeceased by parents: Dexter and Bertha; brother: Raymond. Leaving to mourn, wife: Sharon; three daughters: Cavelle (Wilmore) Newman, Triton, Brenda Bridger, Calgary, AB and Diane Bridger, St. John's; five sons: Clarence, Barry (Ann), Ken and Paul (Mia), all of St. John's and Jason (Michelle), Grande Prairie, AB; two step-sons: Jeffrey (Cathy) Squibb, Carbonear and Stephen (Julie) Squibb, Ottawa, ON; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four brothers; five sisters; former wife: Effie Bridger, St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Then resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Triton on Tuesday from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Triton. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Brighton. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Otto Bridger Memorial Fund.
