Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at Dr. A.A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Friday, March 24, 2023, Florence Marie LeShane of Lower Island Cove, age 59 years. Predeceased by parents: Lloyd and Gertrude Snelgrove; brother: Clayton. Leaving to mourn, husband: Derrick; daughter: Tiffany (Shawn) Dillon, Conception Bay South; step-daughter: Melanie (Matt) Martin, Conception Bay South; son: Ross (Chasity) Snelgrove, Grate’s Cove; step-son: Curtis (Stacey) LeShane, Paradise; six grandchildren: Olivia, Brooklyn, William, Cameron, Kaitlyn, and Zachary; two brothers: David (Lucy) Snelgrove, Centreville and Ray (Jane) Snelgrove, Grate’s Cove; three sisters: Ruth (Bob) Barrett, Old Perlican, Lorraine Snelgrove (Gary Parrott), Toronto, ON, and Effie Snelgrove (Conrad Coish), St. John’s; sisters-in-law: Pearl Snelgrove, Clarenville, and Linda (Paul) Puddester, Lower Island Cove; special friend: Doreen Walsh, Bay de Verde; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove on Friday, March 31 from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday, April 1 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, April 1 at 1:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove.
