Obituary of Edward 'Ed' Taylor

Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 17, 2023, Edward ‘Ed’ Taylor of Harbour Grace, age 88 years. Predeceased by parents: Charles and Catherine; brothers: infant brother Norman, Jim, and Herman (Betty); sister: Verna (Bill) Farrell. Leaving to mourn, loving wife of 60 years, Sophie Irene; daughter: Lynn (Brent) Jones, Harbour Grace; grandchildren: Erin and Adam; sisters: Minnie (Bill - deceased), Harbour Grace, Helen (Norman) Hennifent, St. John’s, and Linda (Silas) Penney, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff and management of Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear, for their kindness, compassion, and professionalism during his time there. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Thursday, April 20, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, April 21, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, April 21, at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace.
