Awe I worked with Shirley at the interfaith home for 20 years. She was a character for sure but a good one. Had lots of laughs with her and arguments all good. Hope you’re now arguing with the ones you’re with right now. But they will loose !! TIME

There are no words to ease the pain you are all going through. I hope you find comfort in the beautiful memories you have of your kind, and beautiful mom. May god give you strength in this difficult time. I always remember when mom, Sally, and I went to visit your mom when Sally was three. Mom was a little shy at first but your mom greeted us like we were family and invited us in with her warm beautiful smile. Within seconds mom felt very comfortable and your mom was so friendly and inviting. She gave us lots of compliments and some great food. I had told mom, “where do you think Jeannie and Joanne get their beautiful traits from?” We both agreed all three girls: Mrs O’Shea, Jeannie and Joanne all have kindness in their heart. Thank you Mrs O’Shea for giving me the chance to be fortunate enough to have your girls as my friends. Also, thank you for raising such awesome kids. I met this wonderful woman when I traveled to Harbour Grace for the best vacation of my life. Shirley was beautiful inside and out. It breaks my heart to know she is no longer here and my condolences go to her family and dear friends. She will be forever missed. Shirley, bless your heart and soul, you now fly with the angels. Being a fellow Bell Islander, each time we met, we would have a great conversation and catch up on the latest news.
