Susan and I met through work many years ago and instantly became friends. She had an energy to captivated a room and the people around her. She was strong, funny caring, kind, loving, and always made you feel like you were the most important person in the world. She was always supportive to the people around her and that needed her. Susan always showed that the little things mattered. There are not enough words to express how much Susan will be missed and how much she is loved. In my world there will never be another Susan. We miss you so much my friend. Rest in Peace.

Susan was one of my dearest friends.....she was originally my boss (best boss I ever had) and we quickly became friends. We bonded over our East Coast roots, TV shows, and whenever we had a staff dinner, Susan was the life of the party. Whenever we would walk around the PATH in downtown Toronto; at every single turn, she would run into people that she knew or used to work with. "How do you know all these people?", I would ask her. She would shrug and just say "I would walk around during my break and just start talking to people". People were drawn to her, she was so easy to get along with. And I will never forget her sense of humour. Her smile. Her laugh. The inside jokes. The trip to the East Coast a few years ago when we stopped at a Tim Hortons and instead of asking for a medium double double coffee for Charlie, she asked for a medium black black. That was a lot of driving. We were tired. The trip to the West Coast about a year or two later; one of our missions being getting a picture of a bear (albeit, of course, from the safety of the vehicle). I'm so happy to have memories of visiting some amazing places and having Susan as a part of those memories.
To Susan's Mom and family, she talked about you all the time. Whenever she would go home to Newfoundland, she would tell me all about the things you did and the time you spent together.
And to Charlie; she loved you so much. You were her rock. I'm so sorry.
Susan was an amazing, amazing woman. She was strong. She was fearless. She was loved by so many of us. I'm really going to miss her.
Rest In Peace, Susan.

Susan was the most postive person I knew. Her beautiful smile and lustrous laugh filled a room. Susan loved a lot of things in life, but most of all she loved Charlie,Ramsay,Mum, her family, Charlie's cheesecake and going out for Breakfast. i met Susan through work. Best hiring decision I ever made. she went with me to all the companies I moved to! She made me look good!!! Although we worked together for many years, I am one of the lucky ones to call her friend. I'm going to miss our breakfast out, our long chats, but most of all the beautiful smile and laugh. My sincere condolences to Charlie and her family. Susan was a special gem. Rest in Peace my friend.

Susan was a lot of different things to many people but when Jen and I got married she was my best man. At first she said she could not be a best man but after she warmed up to the idea she was joking about having to tell her other brothers that out of all of them she was the best man!

Deepest condolences to family and friends. Susan always had that broad smile that lit up a room. Growing up in school until elementary, and seeing each other every day on the bus route in our high school years, she always met everyone, no matter the length of time, as if it was yesterday. A kind heart that will be forever missed. Rest easy my friend

To Charlie and all of Susan's dear family,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. The world has lost a beautiful soul.
I worked with Susan at Smart Set for about 2 1/2 years. Susan was the store Manager and therefore my boss. She was very hard working and a true team player. We had so much fun together. Susan was very proud of her Newfoundland background and spoke often of her family, especially her Mom and of course Charlie who meant the world to her. Susan had such a big heart and a zest for life that was contagious. She was a very generous, kind person.
I will miss Susan's giggle, her crazy sense of humour, that mischievous twinkle in her eyes and all the great times we had together. She truly was a great person. She touched my life in a truly amazing way and I am so glad we always kept in touch. I will miss you forever Susan.
RIP Susan.
Love, Teri xo

Sending my deepest condolences to Susan’s family. May god give her family strength and ease to get through this tough time. May god allow Susan to rest peacefully and pain free. I worked with Susan for a good amount of years and have been blessed to call her my friend and someone who always looked out for me. She gave the best advice and had the gift to turn a frown into a smile. She was so funny and had such an infectious laugh that would get you laughing as well. It was never a full moment with her. I’m so proud of Susan. She was a fighter, fight until the end! That was Susan. She was resilient, courageous, brave, and strong through her life stories which she’d share with me to help me get through anything I was going through. Susan was the best most caring manager. One evening after work there was a snowstorm, Susan and Charlie gave me a ride home and I really appreciated that. My favourite memories of susan would be working with her on the weekends and going out for dinners. I will forever miss Susan. It was an honour to have met her and build memories with her. Love you Susan, rest easy.

My deepest condolences to the entire family at this hard and sad time. I met Susan years ago when she was in college and living in Bristol's hope with her mom, though I was only in high school Susan became my best friend in the world .She was more then that, she was My Sister :( which i adored . We used to do everything together driving around in her little red Jeep. She was always there for me right by my side, she would not let anyone bully me in High School and when I was sad she was always there to lift my spirits and make me smile and laugh. When I move to Ontario, Susan came to visit me and she was there when I had my both children, she used to spoil them rotten she loved both of them so much. Susan was the best friend I ever had. Eventually years went by and she got married to a wonderful man, which I did get to meet once sadly after that both of our Lives went a separate way and I lost contact with her but there wasn't a day that went by that I didn't think about her and wonder how her life was going. I am shocked and devastated to hear of her passing, she was taken way too early. May your beautiful soul rest in peace, My Dear Friend/ Sister, you will be greatly missed :( xo.

Susan was more than a friend to me. She was a sister I never had, she was my partner in both good and bad choices, she was a God mother to my eldest daughter, she was my maid of honour from my practice marriage and she was my oldest friend. My loss is unfathomable and I can't pretend you know how you all are feeling. I wish I could be there to join you as you all say goodbye. I will say goodbye miles away but will return to sit with her and visit Mrs. H (OLD JOKE NICKNAME) asap. Our journey together as friends up until just weeks ago has been a gift from God. Susan was such a devoted friend that we often joked that if one of us ever got arrested we would NOT bail the other out, as we would both be handcuffed together in the cell making the best and playing crib. Ride or die friend forever. The memories I have are too numerous to share and are all my gem stones that will I will treasure forever. I loved her, I will continue to love her and I send my love and strength to you all. Sincerely, her best friend, Michelle (Miller) Cooper.
