Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, Lillian Rose Power of Gull Island, age 94 years. Predeceased by her husband: Dominic; parents: Andrew and Bridget Oliver; sisters: Mary (Steve) Maloney, Catherine (Bernard) Delaney, and Gen (Tim) Delaney; brothers: Raymond and Luke (Alena). Leaving to mourn, one son: Raymond (Heather), Ontario; three daughters: Bride (Jack) Traverse, Northern Bay, Catherine (Harold) Snelgrove, Mount Pearl, and Helena (Wade) Crowley, Western Bay; seven grandchildren: Brad (Jacquie), Curtis (Andrea), Danielle, Jordan, Scott, Marisa (Scott), and Kirk (Tara); five great-grandchildren: Aidan, Caitlin, Ben, Juliet, and Drae; brother: Andrew (Dot, deceased) Oliver; sister-in-law: Anne Oliver; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Lillian’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her treasures; whom always brought a smile to her face, and whom she loved like her own children with all her heart. A special thank you to the staff of 3 South, Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion for the loving care provided to our mom. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Friday, September 1 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, September 2 at 10:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Interment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay.
